Export linked diagrams – teamwork

Two analysts create separate processes about travel expenses. Their Visio diagrams are linked in drill-down mode to show the complete process, exported as interactive HTML and MP4 videos.

First analyst: travel expense approval overview

The main Visio diagram

Using a Microsoft Visio template, the first analyst maps the global process: “Travel request rejected,” “Travel request approved,” and others.

This diagram shows the overall workflow.

International travel expense - approved
Process: International travel expense approved

Second analyst: approval process details

The detailed BPMN diagram

The second analyst focuses on how travel requests are evaluated and approved or rejected, mapping multiple subprocesses according to company policy.

Link main and detailed processes

Connect the two diagrams in Visio with Unistep

In Visio, link a process in the first diagram to its matching subprocess in the second. For example, “Approval rejected” (diagram 1) links to “Local travel rejection” (diagram 2), and “International approval granted” links to “Approval details for international travel.”

Export as animated HTML or video

Unistep exports the main and linked processes as interactive HTML and MP4 videos. In the HTML viewer, switch between normal and trail mode, or navigate through drill-down levels.

Interactive drill-down view

Use button “L1” to view the main process only, or “L2” to include the subprocess. Zoom with Ctrl + scroll, and animate with keyboard shortcuts.

Export videos with one click

Unistep automatically exports all drill-down levels, generating previewed MP4 files in both normal and trail modes. A summary HTML catalog provides instant access to all videos.
