Unistep links explained

Here we present some didactic examples of link usage, exported as animated HTML pages and MP4 videos. Each stream can be defined independently. Then, links are created between one stream and another (the target). This group of streams may also become the target of another stream, allowing you to create complex chained streams and animations.

Two drill-downs and a horizontal link

Stream A calls two other streams at two different steps, in drill-down mode. When stream A finishes, it calls another stream through a horizontal link.

The diagrams span two levels. In the animated HTML, you can animate only the highest level (which will include the horizontal link only), or both levels.

Two drill-downs and two horizontal links

Stream A calls two other streams at two different steps, in drill-down mode. One of these drill-down streams calls another stream through a horizontal link. When stream A finishes, it also calls another stream through a horizontal link.

The link creation was as follows: first create the link between streams A and E, and the link between streams C and D. Then stream A (already linked in horizontal mode) was linked in drill-down mode to streams B and C (the latter also already linked in horizontal mode).

The diagrams span two levels. In the animated HTML, you can animate only the highest level (which includes the horizontal link only), or both levels.

Two drill-downs at successive levels and two horizontal links

Stream A calls stream B in drill-down mode. In turn, stream B calls stream C in drill-down mode. Stream C is also linked in horizontal mode.

The link creation was as follows: first create the horizontal links between streams A and E, and between streams C and D. Then stream A (already linked in horizontal mode) was linked in drill-down mode to stream B. After that, stream B was linked in drill-down mode to stream C.

The diagrams span three levels. In the animated HTML, you can select which level to animate.

A complex example, with multiple drill-downs and horizontal links

Stream A calls stream B in drill-down mode. In turn, stream B calls stream C in drill-down mode. Stream C is also linked in horizontal mode.

The link creation was as follows: first create the horizontal links between streams A and E, and between streams C and D. Then stream A (already linked in horizontal mode) was linked in drill-down mode to stream B. After that, stream B was linked in drill-down mode to stream C.

The diagrams span three levels. In the animated HTML, you can select which level to animate.
